Terms of Service

Effective date: September 23, 2026

These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) are an agreement between you and Explosive Games LLC (“Explosive Games LLC”, “we”, “us”). They cover War for Power (the “Game”) on every platform, this website, and any related services (together, the “Services”). By downloading, installing or playing the Game, or by using the website, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

1. Who can play

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Services, or older if the law where you live sets a higher age. If you are under 18 (or the age of majority where you live), you may use the Services only with the permission of a parent or guardian, who agrees to these Terms on your behalf and is responsible for your use, including any purchases.

2. Your account

  • You may create one account per person. Do not share, sell, give away or transfer your account, and do not use another person’s account.
  • You are responsible for keeping your account and sign-in method secure and for everything that happens on your account.
  • Your in-game name must not be offensive, misleading, or impersonate another person, Explosive Games LLC or the Game’s staff. We may change names that break this rule.
  • We may suspend or close accounts that have been inactive for a long period after giving notice where we have a way to contact you.

3. Licence to use the Game

We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and play the Game for your own entertainment, subject to these Terms. Everything else is reserved. The Game is licensed to you, not sold.

4. Virtual items and currency

  • The Game includes virtual items and virtual currency (for example gold, wood, troops, buildings, speed-ups and cosmetic items). These are part of the Game and have no value outside it. You do not own them: you receive a limited licence to use them within the Game under these Terms.
  • Virtual items cannot be exchanged for real money, transferred outside the Game, or sold to other players, except through features we build into the Game.
  • We may change, replace, re-balance or remove virtual items and features at any time as part of running and improving the Game.

5. Purchases and refunds

  • Purchases are made through the App Store, Google Play or the PC storefront you downloaded the Game from. Their terms and payment methods apply, and they process refunds according to their own policies. We do not receive your payment details.
  • Prices may vary by platform and region and can change. Applicable taxes are included or added as required by the store.
  • Except where the law requires otherwise, purchases of virtual items are final once delivered to your account. If you believe a purchase was made in error or was not delivered, contact the store first, then contact us with your Player ID and the store receipt.
  • If you delete your account or it is closed for breaking these Terms, you lose any virtual items and currency on it without refund, except where the law requires otherwise.

6. Rules of conduct

The Game is competitive by design: attacking other players, raiding their resources and taking the throne are part of it. The following are not. You agree not to:

  • cheat, use bots, scripts, macros, mods, emulators that give an advantage, or any tool that automates play or alters the Game;
  • exploit bugs (report them to us instead), or buy, sell or trade accounts, virtual items or currency outside the Game;
  • harass, threaten, bully or abuse other players, or post content that is hateful, sexual, violent beyond the Game’s own theme, illegal, or that reveals another person’s private information;
  • spam, advertise, or share links to scams, malware or other games in chat;
  • impersonate Explosive Games LLC staff, or claim to speak for the Game;
  • interfere with the Game’s servers or other players’ connections, or access the Services other than through the official app;
  • reverse-engineer, decompile or extract the Game’s code or assets, except where the law expressly allows it.

7. Chat and player content

You are responsible for what you post in chat, clan descriptions, names and any other content you create in the Game (“Player Content”). You keep ownership of your Player Content, but you give us a worldwide, royalty-free licence to store, display and moderate it as needed to run the Services. We may review, filter or remove Player Content that breaks these Terms, but we are not obliged to monitor everything, and we are not responsible for what other players post. Use the in-game report feature to flag abuse.

8. Fair play and enforcement

If you break these Terms we may warn you, remove Player Content, roll back progress or items obtained unfairly, suspend your account, or close it permanently, depending on how serious the breach is. We may also ban devices used for cheating. If you believe an action against your account was a mistake, contact us with your Player ID.

9. Our content

The Game, this website and everything in them, including the code, artwork, characters, names, logos, music, text and design, belong to Explosive Games LLC or our licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark and other laws. You may share screenshots, videos and streams of the Game for personal, non-commercial purposes, and monetise videos and streams on platforms such as YouTube and Twitch, as long as you do not claim to be official, do not use our logos as your own, and do not distribute cheats or extracted assets. We may withdraw this permission for content that breaks these Terms.

10. Updates, availability and ending the Game

  • We may update the Game at any time, and you may need to install updates to keep playing.
  • The Game depends on servers, app stores and internet connections. We do our best to keep it available but do not guarantee it will be free of downtime, errors or data loss.
  • We may stop offering the Game or a feature at any time. Where reasonably possible we will give at least 30 days’ notice before shutting the Game down. Virtual items have no value outside the Game and are not refunded when it closes, except where the law requires otherwise.

11. Ending this agreement

You may stop using the Services at any time and can delete your account through the Game’s settings or our account deletion page. We may suspend or terminate your access if you break these Terms, if we are required to by law, or if we stop offering the Game. Sections 4, 5, 9 and 12 to 15 continue to apply after termination.

12. Disclaimer of warranties

The Services are provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent allowed by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Some jurisdictions do not allow these exclusions, so some may not apply to you.

13. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Explosive Games LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of data, progress, virtual items, profits or goodwill, arising from your use of the Services. Our total liability for all claims relating to the Services will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or USD 100. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

14. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify Explosive Games LLC against claims, losses and costs (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your Player Content, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.

15. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules, except where the mandatory consumer law of your country of residence gives you greater protection. If you have a problem, contact us first and we will try to resolve it informally. If we cannot, disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Dallas County, Texas, and you and we each consent to their jurisdiction, except that consumers in the EEA, UK or other regions may bring claims in their local courts where the law allows. [Consider with a lawyer whether to add an arbitration clause and class-action waiver for US players.]

16. Changes to these Terms

We may change these Terms as the Game develops. We will post the updated Terms here with a new effective date, and for material changes we will notify you in the Game or by email before they take effect. Continuing to use the Services after that date means you accept the new Terms.

17. Other terms

  • These Terms, with the Privacy Policy, are the whole agreement between you and us about the Services.
  • If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
  • You may not transfer your rights under these Terms. We may transfer ours to a successor to the Game.
  • The Game is distributed through third-party stores. Apple and Google are not parties to these Terms and have no responsibility for the Game, but Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms for the iOS version and may enforce them.
