This Privacy Policy explains how Explosive Games LLC (“Explosive Games LLC”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses and shares information when you play War for Power (the “Game”), visit our website, or contact us. It applies to the Game on every platform we release it on, including iOS, Android and PC, and to this website.
If you do not agree with this policy, please do not use the Game or the website.
1. Who is responsible for your data
Explosive Games LLC, 5473 Blair Rd Ste 100, Dallas, TX 75231, United States, is the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. You can reach us at contact@explosivegames.com or through our contact page.
2. Information we collect
Information you give us
- Account details: when you create a Game account we assign you a Player ID and store the in-game name you choose. If you sign in with Apple, Google Play Games or another platform account, we receive the identifier and, where you allow it, the name and email address linked to that account.
- Messages: anything you type into in-game chat, clan chat or messages to other players, and anything you send us through the website or by email, including your name and email address.
- Support and deletion requests: the details you give us when you ask for help or ask us to delete your account.
- Newsletter sign-up: your email address and the date you signed up, if you use the sign-up form on this website.
Information collected automatically
- Device and technical data: device model, operating system and version, language, screen size, app version, IP address, time zone, and an installation ID we generate. We do not use the advertising identifier (IDFA/GAID).
- Gameplay data: your progress, buildings, troops, resources, battles, clan membership, kingdom, login times, session length and the actions you take in the Game.
- Purchase data: a record of in-app purchases (item, price, date and a transaction identifier). Payment itself is handled by Apple, Google or the PC store; we never receive your card details.
- Crash and performance data: error reports and performance measurements so we can find and fix problems.
- Website data: standard server logs (IP address, browser, pages requested, time). The website does not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
Information from third parties
- App stores tell us whether a purchase or subscription is valid.
- Platform sign-in providers (Apple, Google) give us the identifier and profile details you agree to share.
3. How we use information
- To run the Game: create and save your account, keep your progress, match you with other players in a kingdom, run battles, chat and clans, and deliver purchases.
- To keep the Game fair and safe: detect cheating, bots, fraud and abuse, enforce our Terms of Service, and moderate chat when it is reported.
- To support you: answer questions, restore accounts, process refund requests where we can, and carry out deletion requests.
- To improve the Game: understand how features are used, fix crashes, balance gameplay and test changes.
- To communicate: send service messages about your account or the Game, and, only if you signed up, news about launches. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link.
- To comply with law: keep records we are legally required to keep, such as purchase records for tax purposes, and respond to lawful requests.
The Game contains no advertising. We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it with advertising networks or use it for targeted advertising.
4. Legal bases (for players in the EEA, UK and Switzerland)
- Performance of a contract: providing the Game and your account under our Terms of Service.
- Legitimate interests: keeping the Game secure and fair, fixing bugs, understanding how the Game is used, and protecting our rights. We balance these interests against your rights.
- Consent: marketing emails. You can withdraw consent at any time.
- Legal obligation: keeping accounting records and responding to lawful requests.
5. Who we share information with
- Other players: your in-game name, Player ID, clan, kingdom, level and gameplay results are visible to other players by the nature of an online multiplayer game. Chat messages are visible to the people in that chat.
- Service providers that work on our behalf, such as server hosting, databases, crash reporting, analytics, email delivery and customer-support tools. They may only use the data to provide their service to us. [List the main providers here, e.g. hosting provider, analytics SDK, crash reporting SDK.]
- App stores and platforms: Apple, Google and PC storefronts, for purchases, sign-in and platform features.
- Law enforcement or regulators when the law requires it, or to protect the rights, safety or property of players, the public or us.
- A buyer or successor if we sell or transfer the business or the Game, in which case this policy would continue to apply to your data.
6. Children
The Game is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. In some countries the minimum age for using the Game without parental consent is higher (for example 16 in parts of the European Union), and we apply the age that the platform and local law require. If you believe a child has given us personal data, contact us at contact@explosivegames.com and we will delete it.
7. International transfers
We are based in the United States and our servers and service providers may be located in the United States and other countries. When we transfer personal data from the EEA, UK or Switzerland, we rely on safeguards recognised under those laws, such as standard contractual clauses.
8. How long we keep information

9. Security
We use technical and organisational measures appropriate to the risk, including encryption in transit, access controls and monitoring. No online service can be completely secure, so we cannot guarantee the security of your data.
